In a retained assignment we take a more targeted approach. We allocate the most relevant Consultant to work on the project exclusively from conception through to completion, and leave no stone unturned in scouring the market for talented individuals whom we may not yet know.
Because of the level of time and energy required to properly carry out a search we charge an initial retainer payment. The remainder of the fee is payable on commencement of the successful candidate’s employment.
Unlike most of our competitors we do not change our fee structure for retained assignments, so a retained hire is no more expensive than a contingent one. The only difference is the level of research and networking involved — usually dictated by the uniqueness of the role being recruited.
